I spent a week sailing with Peter on a delivery of my Beneteau 34 from Sandringham, my yacht had no autopilot and this meant hand steering in shifts for our crew, putting off many other delivery skippers but Pete was not deterred by this and proved a very capable asset on this delivery. As Murphy’s law proves anything can and sometimes will go wrong and this trip was no exception. I found that Pete exceeded his role and was valuable in problem solving some of the issues encountered making contact with technicians to keep the delivery on track. Pete proudly advised at the beginning that he was a good cook and I let him run with this, giving him free reign over the menu and supplies, I discovered Pete is actually an excellent cook and I would advise this course for anyone who chooses to join him on a delivery. To summarise, I found Pete a capable sailor who went beyond his role and kept the crew well nourished and entertained and have no hesitation in recommending him.
